Quick look at the dip sent me to manor with 5 sailors out. The wind varied between planing and non planing with fairly lumpy water. rigged F2 longB + 9.8 V8 and took on Dave Coles to the dip. Formula head was screaming backwards and forwards beating to windward whilst my plate kept me much higher. I thought I had him calling starboard at the Pier, but overcook the next beat by 1/2 mile and it was game over with formula head. He thrashed me back to the manor as the wind came back for the downwind leg..next time...
great sail and knackered for sunday at the dip. it was offshore and paul tried, glad I didn't with dumpers, cold..here comes winter..
